BRIEF: Nicholas Royle is a criticaly acclaimed author of dark fiction. It was essential for Nick to be able to update his own site, and this was provided using a 3rd party web-based diary system. The photograph is a self-portrait by Nicholas, and the background is a low-contrast version of one of a series of Royle photographs of an abandoned hospital in Central London.
